Project Examples
Requirements
Starting this July, student-consultants in groups of 5 will spend 150 hours per team assessing a challenge your organization faces to determine if and what type of training will resolve the issue.
Based on their needs analysis, if the challenge can be assisted through training, student-consultants will create a proposal that outlines the content, format, outcomes, and ROI for a recommended training program.
Sample student projects include, but are not limited to:
- Examining turnover rates to determine if employees leaving an organization can be directly linked to a lack of, or need for specific training.
- Examining high rates of safety incidents/occurrences/mishaps to see if a lack of training is the root cause and determining corrective actions to eliminate safety hazards and mishaps.
- Examining quality issues with an organization’s product or service to see if they can be linked to a lack of training in a critical or key area.
