The main goal of this project is to explore and understand the regulatory landscape for Telebotic delivery solutions, identifying key regulatory hurdles and suggesting practical compliance solutions. Additionally, it aims to analyze potential risks associated with robotic delivery and propose strategies for risk mitigation, including control mechanisms and insurance coverage options.


Deliverables

Tasks for learners to complete in order to achieve the project goal include:


- Regulatory Landscape Analysis (20 hours)


- Regulatory Hurdle Identification (15 hours)


- Solution Formulation (20 hours)


- Risk Analysis (10 hours)


- Risk Management Strategies (10 hours)


- Documentation and Presentation (5 hours)



Final deliverables should include:


- Thorough research on current regulations affecting robotic delivery solutions across various jurisdictions


- Identification of specific regulatory barriers that could impede the deployment of robotic delivery solutions


- Proposals for innovative solutions to overcome identified regulatory hurdles


- A risk assessment of deploying robotic delivery solutions, considering technical, operational, cybersecurity, and public safety risks


- Strategies for managing identified risks, including designing control mechanisms and exploring insurance products


- A comprehensive report documenting the findings, analyses, and proposals, as well as a presentation summarizing the project’s insights, conclusions, and recommendations.


Mentorship
  • Bi-weekly Q&A sessions to discuss progress and challenges and receive guidance (4 hours total).
  • Access to legal databases and regulatory resources for research.
  • Workshops on risk assessment methodologies and control mechanisms.
  • Guidance on effective report writing and presentation skills.
