We need you to help us conduct a deep drive into existing events to ensure we can be at the table for the most impactful events and important conversations in Canadian technology.
By the end of this project, you will have compiled information related to all technology-related events in Canada, conferences, timelines, deadlines to apply to speak or be a panelist, fees if associated and sponsorship toolkits. You will send us all of your research on the topic. As well, you will also summarize which seem the most realistic, which are the most interesting and provide us with a recommendation.
To successfully complete this project, you will need to use the following skills: research, coordination, information presentation and strategic thinking.
Research - you will need to read up on Canada's premier technology related events and conferences, especially within different verticals (i.e. innovation, Web3, softwares etc.), and identify who puts these events on.
Coordination - you will need to conduct outreach to different event hosts and organizers (i.e. The Globe and Mail, Collision Conference, Toronto Board of Trade) to gather information related to timelines, deadlines to apply / be a panelist, fees and sponsorship toolkits.
Information Presentation - you will need to organize all of your research in a way that we will be able to digest. This might be through Microsoft Word or PowerPoint.
