We believe this project will include:
- Assist with developing and expanding a Food program that had already been operating with limited structure.
- Create a needs statement that characterizes the community problem and identify areas of need via census data.
- Utilize USDA guidelines and structures to develop programs to sustain operations year around.
- Interpret a request for proposal (RFP).
- Improve the clarity and persuasiveness of our non-profit's mission and vision.
- Research, create and oversee the grant writing process
- Develop Enrichment Programs that reach the community and impact social change
- Create reporting system needed to stay in compliance with grantors
Students will connect directly with the employer for mentorship and supervision throughout the project.
Students will meet regularly with non-profit staff
Students will have access to email and phone numbers of key members of the state and local organizations.
