We can provide access to internal documentation and other information as needed as well as access to key contacts. Based on our unique goals and constraints, we would like students to develop a strong, competitive business plan, which we can present to investors.
The plan should include:
- Sales forecasting
- Expense budget
- Income projections (conservative and aggressive)
- Assets and liabilities
- Break-even analysis
- Sales Pitch
- Market Analyses
The final deliverables should take the form of:
- Business Plan
- A final report
- A 30-minute presentation
Students will connect directly with the owner of the business throughout the project.
About the company
Type Diabeat-it we strive to provide quality, comprehensive Diabetes management and education to support and empower the BPOC community living with Diabetes. In Canada, the prevalence of Diabetes is highest in the African, Caribbean, Black (ACB) communities. Our team is committed to dismantle the unique barriers and systemic health care oppression experience by individuals within this community. As a new organization, we have assembled a multi-sectoral group of passionate individuals to improve the available health resources, address stigmas and implement consistent, culturally appropriate Diabetic information.
