this Project aims to develop the media profile of Project: Human City, there are 5 different designer roles offered at this time:


  1. videographer and editor, in this project you will plan, shoot and edit P:HC on the Street Videos in downtown Toronto
  2. Spotstitch Avatar Designer, in this project you will design Spotstitch Avatars for users to build custom avatars for game play
  3. Social media Manager, in this role you will design media content for instagram, TikTok, Facebook and schedule content posting
  4. Blender Designer, in this project you will design game assets for P:HC's game for "Regenquest"
  5. Game Design Manager, in this project you will design and manage the development of Regenquest and develop the gameplay mechanics
Deliverables

Videographer and Editor for P:HC on the Street Videos;

1. Plan Video Content: Develop storyboards and scripts for engaging street interview segments that capture diverse public opinions in downtown Toronto.

2. Shoot Videos: Operate camera equipment to film on-location interviews, ensuring high-quality audio and visual capture while managing lighting and background noise.

3. Edit Footage: Use video editing software to cut, splice, and integrate clips, add transitions, and overlay graphics and text to enhance viewer engagement and convey clear narratives.


Spotstitch Avatar Designer:

1. Design Avatar Components: Create a wide range of customizable avatar parts, including faces, hairstyles, clothing, and accessories that users can mix and match.

2. Implement User Interface: Collaborate with developers to ensure the avatar design tools are user-friendly and integrate seamlessly with the game's interface.

3. Conduct Usability Testing: Gather user feedback on the avatar customization process and adjust designs to improve user satisfaction and engagement.


Social Media Manager:

1. Create Content Calendar: Plan and schedule diverse content, including posts, stories, and videos across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, aligned with key promotional dates and audience engagement patterns.

2. Design Visual Content: Develop eye-catching graphics, photo edits, and short video clips tailored to each social media platform’s best practices and audience preferences.

3. Analyze Performance: Monitor analytics for each platform to assess the performance of content, adjust strategies based on engagement data, and optimize future postings for increased reach and interaction.


Blender Designer for Regenquest:

1. Model Game Assets: Use Blender to create detailed 3D models of characters, environments, and props for Regenquest, ensuring they are optimized for game performance.

2. Texture Assets: Apply textures and materials to 3D models to enhance their appearance and realism within the game environment.

3. Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with the development team to ensure assets are integrated properly into the game engine and meet technical specifications.


Game Design Manager for Regenquest:

1. Design Game Mechanics: Develop innovative gameplay mechanics that are engaging and integrate smoothly with the narrative and aesthetic of Regenquest.

2. Manage Development Timeline: Oversee the project timeline, coordinate with artists, programmers, and other team members to ensure milestones are met and the project stays on schedule.

3. Playtest and Iterate: Organize playtesting sessions, gather feedback from testers, and iterate on game designs to refine gameplay, fix issues, and ensure player satisfaction.
