digital content scriptingWe would like students to create an original short video to be used as a part of our TeensThrive curriculum. Each video will have a specific theme or message aimed to assist teens, in healing from divorce, separation or death.
If you have a passion for children of divorce, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.
To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:
- Script, produce, and edit a video on one of the following topics:
Baggage - how our emotional hurts can become heavy baggage that we carry with us.
Definition of an Emotional Rollercoaster - using a first time rollercoaster ride to demonstrate the emotions after a family loss
Anger - demonstrate the destructive potential that can result when you don't discuss your feelings
90/10 Rule for Teens - adapt Stephen Covey's 90/10 rule so that it is relevant for teens
My Story - a teen shares written notes explaining the story of their family divorce
Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary. Students will be provided with a copy of the relevant lesson plan for each video, any existing non-proprietary video's to be replaced as well as any specific elements to be included in each video.
