Details

This project involves developing core components of Flutter Energy’s AI-powered web application, focusing on integrating AI functionality and scalable web features. The goal is to create a robust platform that meets industrial users' needs while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance. Learners will apply their knowledge of web development, AI integration, and cybersecurity to build a reliable product roadmap. The project will require the team to design and implement scalable features that can handle industrial-scale data processing. By working on this project, learners will gain hands-on experience in developing secure and compliant web applications, preparing them for real-world challenges in the tech industry.

Task 1: Product Management and Feature Planning (Weeks 1-2)

  • Conduct competitive research to identify key features from existing industrial energy management platforms.
  • Develop a product roadmap outlining development milestones for the next 12-24 months.
  • Create user stories and feature specifications for AI-driven functionalities:
  • Peak demand predictions.
  • Real-time energy usage monitoring.
  • Cost-saving recommendations.
  • Milestone: Submission of a product plan with prioritized features and a development timeline.

Task 2: AI Development and Integration (Weeks 3-5)

  • Build and integrate AI models for predicting peak energy demand using historical and real-time data.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy standards (e.g., ISO 50001 for energy management, GDPR for data handling if applicable).
  • Test and refine AI functionality to improve prediction accuracy and responsiveness in real-time applications.
  • Milestone: Completion of AI features with test results demonstrating predictive accuracy and effectiveness.

Task 3: Web Application Development (Weeks 4-6)

  • Develop the front-end interface using Flutter for Web, focusing on intuitive dashboards and real-time data visualization.
  • Set up the back-end architecture using Firebase or another cloud solution for data handling and user management.
  • Optimize the app for scalability and performance, ensuring it can handle large data volumes from industrial users.
  • Perform QA testing to ensure functionality, usability, and security across different browsers and devices.
  • Milestone: Delivery of a functional prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that integrates AI predictions and energy data analytics.

Task 4: Documentation and Final Review (Weeks 7-8)

  • Compile comprehensive product documentation, including the product roadmap, feature descriptions, and technical architecture.
  • Provide detailed AI development documentation, covering algorithms, model training processes, and data privacy measures.
  • Document the web application development process, including code structure, technology stack, and deployment strategy.
  • Present a final project report summarizing outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future development.

Milestone: Submission of final documentation and a presentation showcasing the developed web application.

Deliverables

Final Deliverables:

  1. Product Plan: Product roadmap, feature priorities, and development timelines.
  2. AI Development Report: Technical documentation of AI models, algorithms, and privacy measures.
  3. Web Application Prototype: A functional MVP of Flutter Energy’s AI-driven web app.
  4. Final Project Report: Comprehensive project documentation and a final presentation outlining outcomes and next steps.
