Our organization is anticipating a large amount of growth in the next 3 years. To make sure we continue to operate with a high level of efficiency, we need to have the right people in the right places. With your help, we hope to modify our current organizational structure in a way that best manages our growth priorities.

Tasks may include

• Research our existing structure and personnel needs using our organizational chart.
• Research EHR software and provide links to software demos
• Generate a projection for personnel growth in the next three years using quantitative and qualitative assessments.
• Conduct a gap analysis for the skills and positions that will be needed in the next three years.
• Develop a proposal for a reconfiguration of our current organizational structure including research, the gap analysis, an updated organization chart, and proposed solutions.
• Create an updated organizational chart according to our current business operations

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities:

• Researched our existing organizational structure and provide organizational chart for global expansion
• Generated a personnel projection for our needs in the next three years.
• Conducted a gap analysis for skills and positions that will be needed in the next five years.
• Developed a proposal including all research, the gap analysis, the updated organization chart and proposed solutions.

Bonus steps would include:

• Included extra visual representations of data collected and modeled in the proposal.

Final deliverables should include

• A proposal including all research, the gap analysis, the updated organization chart and proposed solutions.
• A 20-minute presentation

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Which areas of the company do we anticipate to grow the most?
• Are there any areas or the company that are currently short staffed or overstaffed?
• Are there any new departments we feel the need to create?.
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter.
• Input on email marketing materials.
• Limited access to databases for closer insight to operations.
