Video Game Design & Creation

Upper level students from Trinity Western University's Game Development program are looking to apply the skills they have learned on multiple year-long team game-making projects. Some students are primarily game designers, some are sound and music focused, some are strong narrative writers, and some have basic skills in programming. All have worked with the Unity game engine, Jira project management, and know how to work well as a small team to produce fully functional video games from start to finish.

These students are keen to build a broad foundational knowledge of human communication and culture, hone critical and creative thinking skills, and apply their learning through real-world projects. This course emphasizes professional preparation, equipping students with a broad overview of the professional world, interdisciplinary perspectives and a thoughtful engagement of a variety of contemporary issues.
