Royian was a delight to work with, very attentive and always committed to helping other members of the team as well as provide valuable feedback and creative suggestions. His work and methodology is strong and he is a very friendly person and easy to get on with. He will be a strong asset for any company deciding to work with him in the future.

This is our 2nd project in partnership with Royian. He's been an excellent partner and developer. On our most recent project, Royian also took on a technical leader role where he organized the work and technical project plan for other students. He's demonstrated an eagerness to learn new skills and experiences related to AI, chatbots, dashboards, access and permissions, and front and back-end integration. I'd highly recommend Royian to others.

Team of two, created by Royian Chowdhury. Project Status: Incomplete. Royian doesn't seem to have the aptitude for front-end development. Not having the aptitude for the task would have been tolerable, if he had a great attitude, open to learning and asking questions. Instead, I was met with a horrible attitude and gave off an ironic know-it-all spirit. I assigned Royian to one of our developers and he reported that his work showed a lack of diligence. Umair had a better aptitude and attitude towards his task (backend). When he didn't know what to do he asked questions to learn more. While doing the project, he disappeared and we haven't heard from him since. When we set up this Rippen project, it was a part of a larger Shopify App project that was 90% complete. The remaining task, we estimated should have taken less than 80 hours with the help, guidance, and support of our developers. Only 1 of the 6 remaining tasks was completed satisfactorily by this team. (Research and Report the requirements for Submitting a Shopify App in the Shopify App Store. Est. 4hrs of work) Only two additional tasks were attempted, one task for each member separately. Royian is the only one to submit his task, even though it was incomplete. This team was not great to work with and my only horrible experience working with students.

Royian is an outstanding partner; demonstrated in his technical and business acumen. He was willing to challenge the status quo to ensure that the software development and UI/UX were of the highest quality. He was very responsive and collaborative throughout the project. I'd highly recommend him to other Riipen employers.
