Improve nonprofit website

We have a website in WordPress with a paid theme. We need additional pages and improvements to make our site more current and usable. We would like to add some pages where we can update content. Additional pages needed: Supporter page, including identifying different types of supporters and levels of support Related / partner organization page (trainers and shelters / rescues who work with us, educators who support our programs...) Expanded or new "The Team" type of page where we can easily add new additions to our team as they join us (Staff, volunteers, board...). Integrated calendar that is easier to manage and improves visibility of events and programs. If possible, integration with Microsoft Teams calendar would be helpful. Integration and display of feeds from our social media channels. Desired enhancements to our existing site: Improve, as needed, the CSS and style guide for consistency (including fonts, headers, background colors, example the difference between H2 and the Body, making sure site uses consistent fonts...) Home page - Expand use of the rotating featured image / heading area. We will want to update standard items as well as add special / featured items that are visible for a certain period (like for an event or special announcement). Integration with auto feeds is ideal (e.g., blog/podcast, programs, calendar...) Verify and improve accessibility of the website for various types of disabilities, ideally with guidelines or templates for new content that will help make sure it follows the guidelines. Fix and/or improve featured images for desired display and alt-text... Blog - Create a standard template to use for new blog posts that has all key sections set up with guidance on what is needed when. Blog - Make it easier for guest bloggers to submit posts for our review. Blog - Block SPAM comment posts but make sure staff are notified when a potentially valid comment is ready to be approved. Blog - Integrate or create feed from You Tube for podcast in development. Enhancing our donation area to show different levels of suggested donations. Improve the information provided with the donation confirmation screen to work as a donation receipt (including all desired information for donors), Any portions of these updates will be beneficial so projects that are smaller in scope can choose which parts are of interest and/or get priorities from us.

Create a Social Media Plan & Content to Build a Following for a New Nonprofit

Goals Our primary goal is to develop a plan to get the word out about Paws for Kids. We also want to build credibility, generate interest and engagement, and promote interest in our programs (and registrations). Analysis Needed We have a general understanding of our audiences, including middle school age children, their teachers, their parents, shelters and rescues, dog trainers and handlers. The analysis likely will be different by audience. Specific questions we have are: What social media platforms do we need? (Have Facebook and Twitter. We have a YouTube account but haven't done much with it. What about Instagram? Pinterest? Vimeo? Snapchat?) Which media should we use for which audience: What sites do middle school kids use? What do their parents use? What do educators use? What do rescues & dog trainers use? What will get them interested / draw them into reading our information and exploring more? What tools will enable consistent posting (e.g., HootSuite)? Where does email fit into the marketing & communications? (Does it? When / how / why?) What other things should we consider (e.g., Podcasts, blog, Vlog...)? Outcomes / Deliverables 1) Summary of the Analysis with Related Recommendations 2) Recommended social media practices to continue the effort (post project completion); plan for continued implementation: Frequency & timing of posts Content standards Content categories What type of content on which social platform When and when not to cross-post (days of week, time of day ...) What is too much 3) Initial Content Minimum of 3 months of content to help keep us going, with content by: Category (such as kids, Dogs, Training, education, special needs like ADHD / autism / bullying, ...) Social Media Platform Audience

Strategic Launch Plan for New Nonprofit Assessment Product

Problem Historically, Sutton Enterprises has focused on the certification group and membership association markets. While we have made sure the language of the questions will work for those types of groups, they appear to be less interested in this type of assessment. We are unsure of the best priority target segment or how to reach them, especially if it is small nonprofits. Many nonprofits, especially small ones, are reactive and have limited funds. While they will do some strategic planning, we are not sure when they are ready to take that step. We need to get this product out in the market generating revenue to get some return on our investment and also to fund new enhancements we want to make to the product. We are not sure of the best way to position the product in the market so it will be seen as valuable. Outcomes / Deliverables Competitor Analysis, including a list of assessments and what they offer at what price Differentiators for NP Assess and how to use them effectively Comparison and recommendations on customer segments to target, including the interest and viability of the segments, such as small versus medium nonprofits, credentialing groups (Certifications, accreditors...), membership associations Customer personas for the priority segments to help with effective targeting Launch Strategy, including approach, pricing, and recommended marketing and sales channels Marketing plan with specific marketing messages by priority customer targets.
