Early Childhood Education Virtual Placement Winter 2025

Bring a group of students from the Early Childhood Education program at Mohawk College to be your virtual interns! Students are looking for opportunities to pursue their special interests and passion in a placement experience. In these varied settings, students will engage with children, families, staff, and other professionals. Students will be supported throughout their field placement experience by further enhancing their understanding of Pedagogy for the Early Years with a focus on the four foundations: Belonging, Well-Being, Engagement, and Expression. Students are available for 20-26 hours (unpaid) of placement project time from Wednesday, February 5 to Friday, April 4, 2025 (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) in a virtual or in person (Hamilton or area) capacity. Students will not work during the Reading Week scheduled for Feb 17 to Feb 21.

In these varied settings, students will engage with children, families, staff, and other professionals. Students are available for up to 20 hours (unpaid) of project time from November 4 , 2020 to December 11, 2020 in a virtual capacity only.
