Our goal is to empower kids to build, play and for families to create memories together. We are a POC women-led small business based in Montreal, QC, and we always thought that modular foam furniture was exciting but, as parents, finding a set to purchase for our own kids here in Canada has always been difficult! Not only did we feel Canadian families desired more accessibility to such product, we also thought they would prefer something manufactured locally, here in Canada!

Competitive analysis
We would like students to help us assess the current market and how we can push our competitive advantage. We are a play couch company in Canada called Go Coconut. We manufacture play couches for kids and have seen exponential growth in this sector in the past year. We are looking to establish ourselves as partners during the parenthood journey, and give resources and knowledge to our customers about the benefits of creating a yes space for their children, as well as supporting the development of gross motor skills for their children. We also believe in mindful parenting related to the Montessori philosophy. In the past year a lot of competitors have pop-up, and differentiating ourselves is more important than ever. We are a small business, and looking to define an interesting scope for you. You will be working on: Perform a market audit, report results, and describe insights gained. Define target audiences for our brand, and what do they care about. Review our current strategies and recommend strategies to better engage with them. Digital Strategy Creation
We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector (parenting/play couches). We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. We are a play couch company in Canada called Go Coconut. We manufacture play couches for kids and have seen exponential growth in this sector in the past year. We are looking to establish ourselves as partners during the parenthood journey, and give resources and knowledge to our customers about the benefits of creating a yes space for their children, as well as supporting the development of gross motor skills for their children. We also believe in mindful parenting related to the Montessori philosophy. Next summer we will be launching a new product, while still trying to increase sales on our best seller. In the past year a lot of competitors have pop-up, and differentiating ourselves is more important than ever. Ultimately, you will be working on our social media strategy for our organization. We would of course love a social media calendar, or a series of captions that we could also use. We would like students to help us with developing and implementing a marketing campaign to onboard more retailers that are aligned with our vision, mission, and sector (parenting/play couches). We are a play couch company in Canada called Go Coconut. We manufacture play couches for kids and have seen exponential growth in this sector in the past year. We are looking to establish ourselves as partners during the parenthood journey, and give resources and knowledge to our customers about the benefits of creating a yes space for their children, as well as supporting the development of gross motor skills for their children. We also believe in mindful parenting related to the Montessori philosophy. Last year we onboarded Indigo as a retailer and Two sticks, but in order to continue growing, we would like to build a marketing plan to expand. Ultimately, they will: Evaluating an organization’s digital media offerings to identify gaps and suggest improvements Applying segmentation to identify potential retailers who would be interested in our product Helping us assess the best ways to approach them Selecting appropriate methods of communication, utilizing different types of strategies in managing client relationships and building networks Apply the digital marketing campaign to achieve the first connections.
Brand loyalty Strategy

We also believe in mindful parenting related to the Montessori philosophy. In the past year a lot of competitors have emerged, and differentiating ourselves is more important than ever. We are a small business, and looking to define an interesting scope for you. We launched around 5 months ago a "give 20/get 20" program. It has yield some results, but since then we have launched new products. We believe at the moment the program is not yielding the financial results we expected, and we would love to get support analysing it's impact, and from a team to provide recommendations. We propose to: Perform an audit of our current program, report results, and describe insights gained. Propose how the program can evolve from the marketing and financial point of view. We are open to everything! Do sensitive analysis and provide the insights learned.
